Disclosure Scotland Telephone Number 0870 280 3618
Disclosure Scotland is an executive agency of the Scottish Government, providing criminal records disclosure. The agency helps employers make safer decisions when they’re recruiting people. It also makes sure unsuitable people don’t work with vulnerable groups, including children and protected adults. Disclosure Scotland ‘basic’ checks may be used by any prospective employer provided the applicant consents.

Contacting Disclosure Scotland by Telephone
Disclosure Scotland’s customer service phone numbers are 0870 280 3618 and 0870 218 5915. If you wish to lodge a complaint with Disclosure Scotland, dial 03000 2000 40. This line is open from Monday to Thursday between 8.30am and 5pm, and on Fridays from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Depending on your provider, there will be an access charge of between 6.9p and 11.25p for landline calls to 0870 numbers, and of between 21p and 55p for calls from mobile phones. After that you will be charged 7p per minute. In most cases 0870 numbers are covered in phone companies’ ‘inclusive calls’ packages for landline calls (except Co-op and TalkTalk) but not for mobile phones.
Telephone numbers beginning with the prefix 0300 are for not-for-profit organizations, charities and public bodies. Unlike traditional landline phone numbers, 0300 numbers are not linked with specific geographic locations. The cost to call an 0300 number within the UK is always the same as calling a normal home or business landline. In theory, calls from a landline phone cost about 10p per minute, while calls from mobile phones cost between 3p and 55p. However, if your phone tariff offers free calls to landlines at certain times of day, or has inclusive calls or bundled minutes that cover calls to landline numbers, calls to 0300 numbers (and all other 03 numbers) will be included in these deals on the exact same basis.

Disclosure Scotland on Social Media
Unsurprisingly, given its activity, the agency is not very active on social media. The handle for Disclosure Scotland’s Twitter page is @DisclosureScot; the page is followed by 44 people. There is only an unofficial Disclosure Scotland page on Facebook that allows people to let off steam but doesn’t help you to get in touch with the agency. 43 people have liked this FB page. Disclosure Scotland is on LinkedIn but it has only two followers and, apparently, zero activity.
