The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) is the leading skills certification scheme within the UK construction industry. CSCS cards provide proof that individuals working on construction sites have the required training and qualifications for the type of work they carry out. The Scheme keeps a database of people working in construction who have achieved or are committed to achieving a recognized construction-related qualification.
Call CSCS by Phone
The CSCS general enquiries telephone number is 0344 994 4777. The helpdesk is open from 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays, and closed at weekends.
An 0344 number is a special type of landline–rate phone number used by businesses, government bodies, the public sector and various other organizations.
Unlike traditional landline phone numbers, 0344 numbers are not linked with specific geographic locations. However, the cost to call an 0344 number within the UK is always the same as calling a normal home or business landline. All numbers that start with 03 are charged at the same rate as normal local or national landline numbers (which start with ‘01’ or ‘02’).
If your phone tariff offers inclusive calls to landlines, calls to 0344 numbers will also be included in the same way. 0344 numbers are not the same as freephone 0800 and 0808 numbers, but they can be called at no extra charge on many phone tariffs.
If your phone tariff offers free calls to landlines at certain times of day, or has inclusive calls or bundled minutes that cover calls to landline numbers, calls to 0344 numbers (and all other 03 numbers) will be included in these deals in the exact same way.
Contact CSCS via the Internet
The CSCS website is website. The site offers answers to a series of frequently asked questions (FAQs) and a form to fill out to contact the scheme by email. You can also email CSCS directly by writing to website. The website also has a great deal of information about the different types of construction cards available.
CSCS on Social Media
The CSCS is largely absent from social media. The Construction Skills Certification Scheme has a Twitter account (@cscs), which is followed by just over 2,000 people. CSCS has no presence on Facebook, though there are centres that help you with the application process there. The Certificate Scheme is not on LinkedIn, either. CSCS is not on Google+ though there is some information on the Construction Helpline page on that medium.
