The lines are open from Monday to Friday between 8am and 7pm and on Saturdays from 8am until 4pm. The lines are closed on Sundays. 0800 (freephone) numbers are generally completely free to call; they have no service charge or access charge and don’t eat into your phone plan’s free minutes allowances. By contrast, calls from business mobile phones may be chargeable. Calls to 0344 numbers are charged at the national UK landline rate, and are usually inclusive of monthly phone contract package. In other words calls to 0344 numbers from a landline phone will cost up to 9p per minute. The same call from a mobile phone will cost between 3p and 55p a minute.
