Care Quality Commission Telephone Number 03000 616161

The CQC is the independent regulator of healthcare and social services for adults in England. It was established in 2009 as an executive non-departmental public body, part of the Department of Health. The Care Quality Commission makes sure that health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care.

Contacting the CQC by Phone

The CQC customer service phone number is 03000 616161. The customer service centre is in Newcastle. Lines are open from Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm. Quaintly, CQC National Customer Services still operate a fax whose number is 03000 616171.
Telephone numbers beginning with the prefix 0300 are for not-for-profit organizations, charities and public bodies.

Unlike traditional landline phone numbers, 0300 numbers are not linked with specific geographic locations. The cost to call an 0300 number within the UK is always the same as calling a normal home or business landline. In theory, calls from a landline phone cost about 10p per minute, while calls from mobile phones cost between 3p and 55p.

However, if your phone tariff offers free calls to landlines at certain times of day or has inclusive calls or bundled minutes that cover calls to landline numbers, then calls to 0300 numbers (and all other 03 numbers) will be included in these deals on exactly the same basis. Prices quoted include 20% VAT unless otherwise stated.
