Contacting BT Broadband by Phone

The BT Broadband customer service phone number is Freephone 0800 111 4567 or 0330 123 4567. These lines are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Please make sure you are at the computer when you ring. For sales or to notify BT that you are moving home, dial Freephone 0800 783 5390 or 0330 1234 150. If your enquiry is related to billing, call Freephone 0800 443311 or 0330 123 3311.
0800 numbers are generally completely free to call both from landline phones and from mobiles; they have no service charge or access charge and don’t use up your phone plan’s “free minutes” allowance.
Calling an 0345 number costs exactly the same as calling a friend or neighbour on their home phone. Phone tariffs that come with inclusive minutes or ‘free’ calls to landlines include calls to 0345 numbers in exactly the same way as for normal landline numbers starting 01 or 02. If you don’t have any “free minutes” with your landline package, you will typically be charged up to 10p per minute. This can vary significantly depending on the day and the time you are making the call. If you call from a mobile and you don’t have any ‘free minutes’ left, the cost of calling an 0345 number will typically be between 10p and 40p per minute.

BT Broadband on Social Media

BT has a surprisingly uneven presence on social media, which is worsened by the fact that the initialism is used by a plethora of institutions around the world. In any case BT Broadband does not have an independent social-media presence. At the time of writing, the BT Facebook page was unavailable. The BT Twitter feed (@bt_uk) has 67,000 followers. For customer support please tweet @BTCare. Just 18 people follow BT on Google+ and the page has practically no content. The BT YouTube channel has 11,000 subscribers. A quarter of a million professionals follow BT on LinkedIn.
